Referral process
Six steps, and a conversation before any of them.
We keep the process light at the front end. What matters first is understanding the young person and being honest about whether RESTA is the right fit.
- 01
Referral
A school, Local Authority, social worker or family gets in touch. We ask for the essentials only — no long forms before a conversation.
- 02
Consultation
We talk through the young person's history, what has been tried and what everyone is hoping for. Honest about fit from the outset.
- 03
Assessment
A relational baseline: strengths, triggers, interests, risk and readiness. This shapes the starting point on the RESTA Framework.
- 04
RESTA Specialist Matching
We match on personality and interest, not on availability. The right relationship is the single biggest predictor of progress.
- 05
Support Begins
Sessions start at a pace the young person can tolerate, with clear communication to family and referrer from week one.
- 06
Review
Structured reviews evidence progress, adjust the plan, and agree the next step — including reintegration where that is the goal.

What to send
Only what helps us understand the young person.
